Ready to Adopt?

Please fill out the application below so we can get to know you. It is very important that you provide well-thought answers to the questions being asked as this will help us make a life-long match for the rescue dog that you’re applying for.

Please do not skip questions as incomplete applications will not be considered.

Once you submit your completed application, a volunteer will respond via email within 48 hours if your application meets our requirements upon initial review. We find our emails often get overlooked, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER!

You will not get a response from us if your application did not meet our requirements for the specific dog you are applying for. Please do not send a follow up email asking if we received your application. We do not respond to these emails, and it only slows down our process of reviewing applications. Thank you in advance for respecting our volunteers’ time and efforts. 

Our approval process has 3 steps:

1. we will check vet and/or personal references provided,
2. a virtual home visit done by video submission via email, and
3. a phone interview.

Upon approval, an adoption contract will need to be electronically signed and we will collect an adoption fee. This fee covers previous expenses of the dog, including appropriate vaccinations, altering, microchipping, and transportation fees. 

• Under 6 months- $495 
• 6 months to 2 years- $450
• 2 years to 6 years- $400
• Over 6 years- $350

Our entire application and adoption process is done virtually! From submitting your application online, to communicating via email, even the home visit is done by video submission. Meet and greets with dogs can even be arranged virtually via FaceTime or Zoom! We understand that this process is not ideal for everyone, so we do ask that you have some tech-savvy ability or have someone that can help you along the way. We have found that adapting to this way of processing applications and finalizing adoptions allows us the time to save more dogs.
